The Homestead Vintage & Makers Market is organized with the vendors in mind by a group of vendors/small business owners who strive to offer the best variety of vintage, antique, hand crafted, artisan, boutique, and repurposed (NO MLM/direct sales allowed).
Event details:
The Homestead Vintage & Makers Market 2025 will take place on Friday March 14th (4pm - 8pm) and Saturday March 15th (9am - 3pm) 2025 at the Waterloo Convention Center in Downtown Waterloo, IA
Booth fees: 10x10 - $65, 10x20 - $125, 10x30 - $180, 10x40 - $230.
This is an indoor event and will take place rain, snow, or shine.
The venue rents tables, chairs, and offers electrical hookup at an additional charge. You pay what they venue charges, we have no markup on those services. You will pay for those services with your booth fees and we will pay them directly for you.
Free public parking including overnight for vendor vehicles and trailers available only 2 block from the event center.

Things you should know before applying:
Event staff is NOT available to help you with unload/setup or teardown/loadout. You must provide your own staff to assist you. Some carts and dollies may be available at the venue but you should plan to unload without since we do not have enough for all vendors.
Setup for all vendors will take place on Friday March 14th between 7am and 3:30pm. NO OTHER TIME is available for vendor setup and ALL VENDORS ARE REQUIRED to be setup and ready for customers by the start of the event at 4pm on Friday.
All vendors must pack up after the event ends at 3pm on Saturday and will have until 6pm to be loaded out of the building (Most vendors were packed up and gone in less than 2 hours last year). Additional fees may be charged to vendors who take longer than 3 hours to loadout due to costs incurred from event center staff and event staff having to be kept late.
This is a juried event and vendors will be selected by the market planning team. Vendors will be selected in 2 groups on 2 dates. The 1st group of approved vendors will be notified the 1st week of December from applications received by November 30th. Booth fees will be due by December 31st to secure your booths. If you are not selected in the 1st group, you may still be selected in the 2nd group of approvals. The 2nd and final group of approved vendors will be notified the 1st week of January. The final application deadline is December 31st and all booth fees must be paid no later than January 31st.
Accepted vendors will receive an email acceptance letter and invoice for vendor fees including any add-on costs. Fees can be paid electronically through the Square Invoice or by mailing a check (postmarked by due date) made payable to: The Vintage Homestead. Vendor fees are non-refundable. The market will take place rain, snow, or shine.
The Homestead Vintage & Makers Market reserves the right to refuse acceptance to any vendor and may revoke the acceptance of any vendor for any reason prior to the start of the event with refund of any booth fees paid. Vendors are not guaranteed any specific location within the event. Booths will be assigned based on size of booth and distribution of various product types. Vendors are solely responsible for unloading, setting up, teardown, and packing up of their own booths and wears.
